Why This Role Matters
As a Transactional Buyer is responsible for managing day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of parts, materials, and services essential for production and operations. This role involves processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Additionally, the Transactional Buyer is responsible for preparing daily reports and tracking procurement performance to support global projects and operational goals. They work closely with supply chain, production, and finance teams to ensure seamless manufacturing processes.
What You’ll Do
Manage and process purchase orders (POs) for indirect goods and services (up to $100,000), ensuring accuracy of pricing, quantities, and lead times in line with procurement policies
Track, monitor, and expedite deliveries to meet production schedules and avoid disruptions
Maintain and develop supplier relationships, resolving order discrepancies, delays, and quality issues
Support sourcing activities by identifying new suppliers to drive cost savings and strengthen supply chain resilience
Collaborate with production and planning teams to align procurement with demand and manufacturing needs
Provide reporting and support global procurement projects by maintaining accurate data, documentation, and tracking performance
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, support audits, resolve invoice discrepancies with finance, and contribute to process improvements for increased efficiency
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor University graduates
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, etc.) and procurement software.
Strong analytical skills and performance tracking.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of materials planning and vendor management.
Fluent in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple procurement
