Senior Scrum Master

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to support the AWS FleetHub application and Web development team. This role focuses on planning, coordination, capacity management, and delivery execution, while ensuring alignment between business priorities and technical delivery.

You will work closely with application developers, architects, Product Owners, and DevSecOps teams to ensure predictable, high‑quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Planning

• Lead Agile/Scrum processes for the AWS application development team
• Plan sprints, manage backlog refinement, and track delivery commitments
• Monitor and manage team capacity, velocity, and dependencies

Delivery Management

• Track development progress, risks, and implementation blockers
• Ensure transparency through metrics, dashboards, and status reporting
• Support release planning and coordination across teams

Technical Coordination

• Act as the primary coordination point between developers, architects, and DevSecOps
• Ensure architectural and technical decisions are properly understood and implemented
• Support technical discussions without replacing architectural or development ownership

Continuous Improvement

• Drive retrospectives and implement process improvements
• Help teams adopt Agile and DevOps best practices effectively

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Technical Lead, or Delivery Lead
• Solid understanding of software development and cloud‑native delivery, using tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
• Experience working with AWS‑based or DevOps‑oriented teams
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM)
• Experience in scaled‑Agile or multi‑team environments
• Basic technical background in application development or cloud platforms

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in software delivery roles
