Why This Role Matters
As a Field Engineer, you’ll play a key role in sustaining and enhancing existing relationships with airline customers, maintenance repair organizations, and airframe manufacturers.
What You'll Do
- Lead tire incident management with thoughtful coordination across legal, quality, and customer teams, ensuring clear communication and positive outcomes
- Build strong customer relationships by providing responsive, empathetic technical support and delivering engaging training on tire care and maintenance
- Monitor and support the performance of new radial lightweight tire sizes, sharing clear, well-structured insights with global technical teams
- Collect and organize field data with attention to detail, including landing data, wear analysis, and overall tire performance trends
- Promote best practices in tire handling to help customers achieve optimal performance and long-term value
- Proactively manage retread level escalations, maintaining a solutions-focused approach for both customers and internal stakeholders
- Mentor and support colleagues locally, fostering knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and confidence in handling technical and customer-related topics
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or engineering
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in tire technology, development, or manufacturing, with a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach
- Confidence in B2B sales, effectively communicating complex technical products through relationship-focused, face-to-face interactions
- Experience with aviation or aviation tires (e.g., pilot, maintenance, or engineering), with a curiosity for industry-specific needs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with care and organization, consistently meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality outcomes
- Clear and inclusive communication skills, adapting technical information to suit diverse audiences and fostering understanding across teams
