Business Process Architect – Salesforce Automotive Cloud

The Senior Salesforce Automotive Cloud Developer is responsible for designing and implementing the fleet- and vehicle centric data model in Salesforce Automotive Cloud, including configuration logic, telematics data ingestion and processing, and vehicle and tire lifecycle processes. He will integrate the platform and IoT features with existing solutions like TPMS, Checkpoint, Drivepoint, and fleet management solutions built in Salesforce Service Cloud, SAP ERP etc. Together with Business Process Owners and IT Business Partners, the Salesforce Automotive Cloud Developer will ensure that the solution designs meet business requirements and drive measurable business outcome..

1.Architect & Configure: Design and maintain core Automotive Cloud features, like vehicle master data and telematics, for the Goodyear fleet business with focus on a global and standardized design that supports all geographies. Maximize the usage of Salesforce’s out-of-the-box functionalities to reduce time-to-market for new model releases. Ensure high availability and optimal performance of Salesforce instances. Regularly evaluate system health and implement enhancements.

2.Integrate & Automate: Seamlessly connect Salesforce to ERP, telematics feeds, and other internal and external platforms to build robust end-to-end processes across platforms and enterprise boundaries. Provide the right tools to ensure high data quality, accuracy and availability, and surface real-time telematics insights to service technicians and customers.

3.Analyze & Optimize: Provide dashboards and tools to monitor the quality of operational processes and data, like fitment accuracy, inventory, adherence to tire policies, inspections, timely job processing, etc. Refine processes and configuration if needed. Measure adoption and satisfaction through dashboards and surveys. Partner with analytics teams to correlate data health with customer satisfaction scores and recommend focused remediation or training.

4.Operations: Embed DevOps best practices: create and maintain scalable Salesforce DevOps Pipelines, Release Plans and Backlog/Roadmap aligned with Salesforce's strategy.

5.Collaborate with process owners, dealer networks, service teams, and telematics partners to gather pain points. As the system evolves, provide L3 business support and application maintenance with continuous improvements and enhancements.
