GM-Site Supervisor

  • Provide on-site leadership and assume interim General Management responsibilities at the supplier facility
  • Stabilize site operations and implement structured governance and reporting processes
  • Ensure alignment between purchase orders, procurement flow, production schedules, and quality requirements
  • Monitor production performance and delivery KPIs, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions
  • Drive operational improvement initiatives and recovery plans to meet contractual milestones
  • Coordinate activities between engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams
  • Oversee supplier performance, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, cost, and schedule expectations
  • Implement performance tracking systems and report progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management
  • Lead problem-solving activities related to production bottlenecks, non-conformities, and supply chain disruptions
  • Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards, safety regulations, and quality processes
  • Support industrialization activities and optimize production workflows
  • Manage site-level financial performance, tracking cost deviations and justifying variances
  • Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing practices where applicable
  • Guarantee technical and economic performance within the scope of responsibilityWrite technical specifications
  • 10+ years of experience in industrialization or manufacturing operations
  • Strong background in production management, supplier operations, and quality processes
  • Proven experience managing plant-level or site-level operations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational turnaround or performance recovery initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, procurement flow, and production planning
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and driving measurable performance improvements
  • Solid understanding of KPIs related to delivery, production output, cost control, and quality
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments and drive sustainable operational recovery
  • Experience in transportation, rail, or heavy manufacturing industries is a plus
