Program Manager, MBA Program Office | McDonough School of Business - Georgetown University
The MBA Student Services Program Manager supports the MBA Program Office in enhancing the MBA student experience. This position provides operations and logistics help to the entire team and will also be heavily involved in the planning and delivery of Program Office and student events. The role spans three primary areas: event management, office operations, and student organization finance, in addition to providing direct support to the Senior Associate Dean.
Key responsibilities include:
Event Management: The Program Manager coordinates and executes key program events, including Orientation/Opening Term, Commencement, Hoya Hubs/Town Halls, Key Alumni Initiatives, Dean’s Fellows events, student leadership programming, and MBA Program Office leadership initiatives (e.g. Dine with the Deans). This includes managing logistics, vendor coordination, catering, project management and event setup, as well as supporting student clubs in planning and delivering their events.
Operations Support: The role supports daily office functions, including communications, front desk management, and supervision of student staff. It also contributes to broader strategic initiatives directly with senior leaders, including data tracking, reporting, and budget support
Student Organizations’ Finance: The Program Manager manages financial processes for over 50 MBA student organizations, including budgets, reimbursements, procurement card reconciliation, approvals, compliance, and audits. The role identifies process improvements and provides insights to support effective decision-making.
This role provides administrative support to the Senior Associate Dean such as assisting with scheduling meetings, travel and event reservations, and spending reconciliations.
Work Interactions
The Program Manager reports directly to the Director of Strategy & Operations and works closely with the entire MBA Program Office team. This position also interacts regularly with MBA Student Organizations / Club Leaders, Student Assistants, Admissions Team, Finance Department, Event Department, Facilities Department, and other McDonough School of Business stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
1 to 3 years of experience of relevant professional experience
Experience supporting events, operations, and/or administrative work
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
Comfortable working with data, budgets, and vendors. Expertise not required, but willingness to learn is.
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Positive and collaborative team player who is reliable, takes ownership of their work, and is excited to grow in the role and work with a very collaborative team
This position requires flexibility, including occasional evening and weekend work to support events and programming.
Preferred
Experience with tools such as Salesforce or similar systems is a plus, but not required.

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
