Geometric Assurance Engineer
Qualification: BE or BTech / ME or MTech: Mechanical / Automobile / Production
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Packaging / Integration / Layout Architecture of Truck aggregates like Chassis frame, Cabin, Steering, brakes and peripheral parts for new generation Vehicle development
- Packaging / Integration for geometrical assurance in truck projects: structural evaluation of complete vehicles (prototypes, package -vehicles)
- The candidate would need to interact and align with global group companies and external partners for development areas.
Must Have:
- Good experience in Heavy commercial (Trucks) portfolio, Vehicle types and categories
- Experience in Vehicle integration and good knowledge of truck aggregates.
- Experience in Truck aggregate integration using DMU tool, Evaluation of vehicle interface components for gap, clearance and generate report with Risk & priority analysis.
- Knowledge of vehicle level (truck) homologation requirements.
- Knowledge of working experience in PLM system and Windchill.
- Experts in CATIA V5 modules.
- Flexibility for international travel
- Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills to foster a supportive working environment
Good to Have:
- Good know how of Basic GD & T methods in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of understanding of installation / routing of Harness, Brake & Hydraulic piping.
- Experience in preparation of technical body building guidelines.
- Experience in PLM systems like OAS or equivalent
