Geologist Officer

Responsibilities: Actively participate in the design, planning, and execution of geological exploration and evaluation programs (greenfield and brownfield); Conduct and supervise fieldwork: geological mapping, sampling (rock and soil), trench geological surveys, description, and quality control of drilling (core and percussion); Ensure the collection, validation, and integration of geological, geochemical, and geophysical data into the Group’s databases; Contribute to the interpretation of geological data and the development of geological and metallogenic models; Assist in the assessment of mineral resources and mining potential, supporting senior geologists; Monitor technical service providers (drilling, surveying, laboratory analyses) and ensure compliance with specifications; Prepare technical reports, notes, and internal presentations; Collaborate with mining, geotechnical, environmental, and HSE teams to ensure consistency of data and technical decisions. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of geology: metallogeny, structural geology, petrology, geochemistry, and mining geology; Analytical, synthesis, and data structuring skills; Proficiency in computer tools and geological software; Strong safety awareness and compliance with HSE standards; Good communication skills and team spirit; Ability to work in the field and adapt to demanding operational environments. Education Profile: PhD in Geology or Engineering Degree in Geology / Geosciences; Professional experience: 0–2 years (including internships); Geographical mobility and availability for field assignments; Rigor, proactivity, scientific curiosity, and professional commitment.
