The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. Purpose of the role

 

The purpose of the job is to support Demand planning function through Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) by providing Innovative solutions and help implementing it to optimize/Standardize processes which will bring improvement to overall forecasting approach resulting in better planning of supply chain. Explore and take up opportunities which supports the demand planning efforts by creating and executing industry standard approaches.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Driving the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) project for process governance, initiatives implementation, data acquisition and reporting across different markets such as SEA, LATAM, CEEMEA, NEDM etc.
  • Build and define the scope and objective of project in collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with the needs of key distributors, ensuring consistency with customer requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Supply Chain/CPFR-related discussions, initiatives, and issue resolutions.
  • Establish and manage governance for demand planners regarding distributor data sharing, including sales reports, forward sales forecasts with agreed horizons, stock reports with freshness visibility, and goods receipt reports.
  • Accountable for timely, accurate, and complete data acquisition and data upload process to Matrix-Control and govern report generation, ensuring dashboards are updated promptly for use by planners.
  • Share and exchange best practices with stakeholders and company leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • Seamless Onboarding of new distributors into the CPFR.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, industrial engineering or any other relevant field
  • 2-3 years of experience in supply chain planning; and familiarity with forecasting, planning and distributor supply chains
  • E2E supply chain expertise, its different related and interconnected KPI’s
  • Stakeholder management
  • Proven MS-Office skills
  • Strong and effective communication skills and ability to work in different time zones
  • Strong Verbal and written communication
  • Working knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau
  • Having a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Good understanding of CPG/Retail supply chains
  • Good knowledge of planning systems such as APO/OMP/O9

Preferred Qualifications

 

Education

  • Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
  • Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
  • Preferred Major Area of Study: Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations management
  • Preferred Professional Certifications: Project Management related Certification

 

Experience

  • Minimum years of related experience required: 5
  • Preferred years of related experience: 5 - 7
