Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible General Gastroenterologist to join our expert team at Riverside Gastroenterology Specialists in Smithfield, Virginia

Position: Full-Time General Gastroenterologist
Location: Riverside Gastroenterology Specialists – Smithfield, Virginia

- Outpatient-focused practice with inpatient coverage responsibilities
- Inpatient call coverage at Riverside Smithfield Hospital
- Advanced practice provider support in both clinic and hospital settings

- Teaching opportunities with Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine residents

💼 Your Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive GI care in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (colonoscopy, endoscopy, etc.)
- Participate in inpatient consults and call coverage
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients on GI health, prevention, and treatment options
- Engage in teaching and mentoring if desired
💰 Compensation & Benefits:
- Attractive base salary with top end earning potential

🎓 Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- License to practice in Virginia
- Current DEA certification
