Job Summary

The Janitor Lead is responsible for maintaining a clean working environment in the warehouse. Perform a wide range of custodial tasks, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash collection in both office and warehouse environments.

Adherance to all safety requirements when when working with cleaning product, and conduct regular inventory of cleaning supplies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receive assignments, instructions, and directions from the Maintenance Leader or plant management.  

  • Read and interpret work instructions to plan and carry out custodial activities efficiently.  

  • Safely transport cleaning materials and equipment to designated work locations.

  • Perform a wide range of custodial tasks, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash collection in both office and warehouse environments.  

  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.  

  • Fulfill other duties and activities as required to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

  • Conduct regular inventory of cleaning supplies and proactively order replenishments as needed.  

  • Close periodic maintenance work orders promptly and accurately in the designated system.

  • Provide emergency cleaning services in a timely manner, addressing unforeseen cleaning requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.  

  • Proficiency in using relevant software applications and systems for inventory management and work order closure.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
