Frontline Manager (Production) - Night Shift

We are hiring a Production Frontline Manager to lead operations on our Night Shift (10:30pm–6:30am, weekdays). This role provides strong, visible floor-based leadership while driving operational performance, team engagement, clear communication and efficient day-to-day operations Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop frontline teams to build a high-performance, collaborative and accountable culture Drive team engagement through regular huddles, recognition, feedback and development planning Provide visible, hands-on leadership to proactively resolve issues and deliver AOP targets across safety, quality, cost, service, labour and environmental performance Champion a strong safety and wellbeing culture, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting and disciplined operational execution Optimise labour and resources through effective workforce planning, performance monitoring, cost control and inventory accuracy Use data and continuous improvement methodologies to identify opportunities, drive sustainable improvements and maintain alignment across shifts Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience in a frontline production leadership role within Food Manufacturing / FMCG Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Manufacturing, Food Science, Engineering or a related discipline preferred Proven ability to deliver results across safety, quality, cost and output, using continuous improvement and effective process control Strong people leadership capability, with experience coaching and engaging teams to build a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture Confident communicator able to collaborate effectively with operations, engineering, quality and supply chain stakeholders Demonstrated success in driving employee engagement, team stability and retention in a shift-based environment Strong planning, ownership and prioritisation skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel or similar tools to interpret data, identify losses and drive improvement Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP and ISO standards, labour management and cost drivers; experience with SAP, Automation and Lean / Lean Six Sigma highly regarded For you Competitive benefits package Annual Bonus + Night Shift Allowance Discounts on Scoopon, Luxury Escapes, Asahi Beverages portfolio Generous leave options (wellness, birthday, volunteer, 20 weeks parental for both primary & secondary carer, additional leave purchase/cash out) Lease Plan Health & Wellness programs Discounted private health insurance Financial coaching Counselling sessions Flu vaccinations Skin checks Professional development programs Global career opportunities PepsiCo’s hiring process: Submit your application Interview(s) / Skills evaluation Online Assessment process Background checks PepsiCo is dedicated to sustainability with initiatives like EV chargers, net-zero energy efficiency, hydro trucks, and net-zero water usage.
