Position Summary:
The Front Desk Agent plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, including check-in and check-out procedures. This position requires an energetic, friendly, and attentive individual who consistently prioritizes guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all in-room amenity and special requests from guests and management.
Support and uphold all resort and hotel policies.
Check in guests and record in the Daily Front Desk Log.
Process deposits or room fees via the Square system.
Program key cards for new check-ins and current guests.
Take reservations over the phone or in person.
Inspect rooms upon check-out and report any issues or damages to management.
Report repairs that need immediate attention to the Maintenance.
Assist guests and staff in resolving billing disputes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the Front Desk and Lobby, including the desk, counter, glass doors, tables, chairs, and snack & coffee areas.
Complete daily financial reports and submit them to the accounting department.
Perform closing responsibilities daily and additional tasks as assigned by management.Qualifications:
High School Diploma preferred.
Demonstrated quality interpersonal communication skills.
Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.
Applicants must successfully pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.Physical Requirements (must have the ability to):
Read and write in English.
Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Follow and provide both verbal and written instructions.
Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time.
Lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.Classification:
