Freelance Gaming QA Tester - Warsaw

The QA Tester is responsible for executing test cases, verifying software functionality, and identifying defects to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. In this role, you will play a key part in validating applications against requirements, reporting issues, and maintaining accurate test documentation to support the development of high-quality gaming experiences.
Important information:
This position is on a mandate contract.
As a mandatory requirement, you must have the right to work in Warsaw. You will be required to provide supporting documentation. You must be a Polish citizen, an EU member citizen, a permanent resident or have a relevant work permit/ Visa in order to be considered for this position.
This is an onsite position. You are required to work onsite during core business hours (Mon – Fri, 8 hours per day) at our office in Warsaw. So you shall be based in the Warsaw area or you are within commuting distance to our office.
What You’ll Do
Execute test cases based on predefined test plans and scripts to validate functionality, usability, and performance
Record and document test results, including defects and deviations from expected outcomes
Report and track bugs using defect tracking tools, ensuring clear and accurate reporting
Collaborate with development teams to support defect prioritization and timely resolution
Work closely with QA team members to clarify test cases and improve overall test coverage
Participate in test case reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
Assist in identifying test cases suitable for automation and support automation initiatives
Ensure testing aligns with quality and compliance standards
Maintain and update test documentation, including test cases, test data, and environments
Monitor testing progress and provide regular status updates
Requirements

Basic Qualifications
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Nice to Have
Passion for video games and the gaming industry
Knowledge of PC and console gaming platforms
Understanding of mobile, tablet, and browser-based technologies
Experience participating in Alpha, Beta, or Early Access game testing
