ROLE

Fixed income execution trader on a discretionary macro portfolio management team focused on mortgage-backed securities, TBAs, and specified pool markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and enhance tools for analysis of MBS/MBS option and spec pool trading.
  • Execute trades on behalf of PM portfolio across MBS products and hedges (rates/vol).
  • Liaise and build relationships with approved broker dealer counterparts focusing on best execution and liquidity.
  • Potential to grow into an associate PM or systematic quant role.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Strong interest in fixed income trading.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tenacious, detail-orientated, organized, and proactive about potential operational risks.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Exposure to SQL or Python a plus.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
