Finishing Engineer (Projects)

Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finishing Engineer with a background in multiplex or project management consultancy (PMC).

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the finishing works for a multiplex project, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to project specifications.
Coordinate with the project team, including vendors, architects, and contractors, to ensure timely completion of finishing tasks.
Supervise and guide the workforce in carrying out interior fit-out, false ceiling, flooring, carpentry, painting, and other finishing activities.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for finishing works, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with the billing department to review and verify project invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Manage vendor relationships, including procurement and negotiation of materials and services required for finishing works.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards and promote a safe working environment for all workers on the site.
Provide technical expertise and support in areas such as electrical systems, CCTV, fire fighting, and protection and detection.

Civil Diploma or B.Tech degree in Engineering.
2-5 years of experience as a Finishing Engineer in a multiplex or PMC background.
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D for creating and modifying design drawings.
Strong knowledge and experience in interior fit-out, false ceiling, flooring, carpentry, painting, project planning, billing, HVAC, and vendor and architect management.
Familiarity with commercial and residential projects, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders.
Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and handle project-related challenges.

This role requires travel as per project requirement.
