Finance Analyst (12 months FTC)

We’re recruiting for a Finance Analyst (12 months FTC) to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. 

We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Finance Analyst to join our Group Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, contributing to continuous improvement, and supporting colleagues across the business. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening our controls, and enabling high‑quality reporting that helps us make confident, informed decisions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing and posting daily and month‑end journals to support accurate financial close
  • Completing financial reconciliations and investigating outstanding items
  • Calculating and preparing cross‑charges and engaging with stakeholders on updates
  • Processing journal requests and supporting production of analysis and trend reporting
  • Supporting cost management activities by reviewing ledger postings and assisting with queries
  • Following robust financial controls and maintaining clear procedure documentation
  • Processing daily cashbook journals, reconciling transactions and liaising with operational teams
  • Supporting system development, ledger maintenance and project activity as needed

Who we’re looking for:

  • Being a graduate and/or actively studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA or having relevant experience
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles and processes
  • Showing strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with confidence managing spreadsheets
  • Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Bringing experience of working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities
  • Applying good analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Communicating clearly and building positive working relationships
  • Having experience with finance systems such as GFAS, Web ADI, Hubble or similar (desirable)
