Responsibilities
- Perform installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of silicon photonics test system.
- Conduct optical, electrical, and electronic measurements to diagnose system issues and restore full functionality.
- Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for complex equipment problems.
- Work closely with solution engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to escalate and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and failure analysis documentation.
- Deliver technical guidance and training to customers on equipment operation and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain high-quality service standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Optoelectronics, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in optical and electronic measurement, semiconductor equipment maintenance, or field service engineering.
- Strong knowledge of optical components, laser systems, photonics testing, and electrical measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, SMUs, spectrum analyzers).
- Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer‑service mindset.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and capable of working under pressure with a positive growth mindset.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and support on‑site service when required.
