Field Marketing Manager
STRATEGIC DIRECTION & BRAND PRIORITIES
- Localise global and national Red Bull strategies to build a distinctive local face of the brand.
- Use deep consumer, regional and competitor insights to drive idea generation, product understanding and brand image.
- Partner with regional sales to build both mental and physical availability across On Premise, Off Premise and universities.
- Drive relevance across key consumption occasions through tailored messaging, occasion campaigns and big regional moments.
- Co-create the regional communication strategy with national specialists to maximise local impact.
MARKETING INNOVATION & PREMIUM EXECUTION
- Develop innovative, locally relevant ideas that bring the brand to life across the full marketing mix.
- Ensure every touchpoint delivers a premium, detail-obsessed consumer experience at events and in field activations.
- Lead consumer- and brand-first communication with a strong focus on digital and social media.
- Build and leverage a powerful network of local influencers, partners and Red Bull athletes to amplify activity 360°.
- Enhance brand visibility and excitement through smart use of 3rd party events, owned channels and event vehicles.
ORGANISATIONAL CAPABILITIES & ENABLING STRUCTURE
- Role model Red Bull values with a motivating, inspiring leadership style.
- Recruit, train and manage a high-performing team that lives the Red Bull attitude.
- Coach and develop team members through ongoing feedback, performance evaluations and clear development plans.
- Engage the team in idea generation, using their lifestyles to spot digital, social and cultural trends early.
- Train regional teams (including sales) on brand strategies and best-in-class execution.
DRIVING EFFICIENCIES
- Maintain efficient, premium-supporting logistics, warehousing and infrastructure systems.
- Own regional budget planning and management in partnership with the line manager and national specialists.
- Continuously identify cost savings and operational efficiencies in the region.
- Build smart, mutually beneficial partnerships that add value through expertise, networks, assets or budget.
- Manage agencies and external partners to deliver smooth, effective event logistics and execution.

The Field Marketing Manager (FMM) Victoria & Tasmania is responsible for building the local face of Red Bull in their field in line with the global and Australian strategies and priorities. They build strong local networks including opinion-leaders and social media creators. They create and implement marketing initiatives, projects & events in the four key pillars of the marketing mix while leveraging On Premise & Off Premise opportunities. Focused on tailoring plans to the local consumers and specificities that positively impact the heart of local consumers, ultimately leading to the successful development of the business & brand. The Field Marketing Manager is constantly out ‘in the field’ to make things happen; this is not a typical 9-5 ‘office’ job.
- 5+ years marketing experience within sports/events or culture marketing within Melbourne.
- 3+ years of people management experience (direct line manager responsibilities).
- Ideally, experience in working with commercial teams – general sales or trade marketing.
- Experience in working with universities or casual workforce will be highly regarded.
