Description

You will be responsible for validating the performance and functional aspects of Wireless on Apple products from a user experience perspective throughout their development lifecycle, from early prototypes to post-release phases. Your role will also involve ensuring that Wireless on Apple products remains at the forefront of technological advancements. You'll conduct in-depth analysis and proposing improvements to innovative technologies developed at Apple through focused experiments and real-world engineering analysis to improve overall end-user wireless experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Developing and running wireless test plans with a primary focus on user experience to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance. - Performing failure analysis to identify hardware or software issues through laboratory and field experiments. - Conducting in-depth analysis of hardware, software, and system issues, including protocol stack analysis (PHY, MAC, Network, and Application layers). - Generating comprehensive system performance test reports that include key performance indicators, highlighting critical issues, and providing a concise, data-driven summary for senior management review. - Applying your data-driven expertise and deep engineering knowledge to influence program decisions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Wireless Communication or Electronics Engineering. Solid Wireless Technology and communication education background. Hands-on experience with end-to-end testing of wireless technology that includes test plan preparation, field testing , log analysis and debugging issues. Comfortable of working in the field/test van. Availability to travel for work up to 50% of the year without restrictions. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written (In both Chinese and English).

Preferred Qualifications

Master or PhD degree in Wireless Communication or Electronics Engineering. 5+ years of Mobile phone or network optimization/planning related working experiences. Strong programming experiences and expertise in Matlab/Python. AIML is a huge plus.
