This position is with the Digital Engineering Solutions team. In this role, the person will be accountable for all aspects of technology integration, influencing Program and Project Managers to strive for higher levels of technology adoption to drive down cost, improve schedule certainty, and enhance productivity.
This is an On-Site position. Location is Ocotillo facility in Chandler, Arizona.
In this role, you will manage and optimize various server and client-based systems, ensuring reliability and security across Windows and Azure-hosted environments. Your expertise will drive the implementation of comprehensive infrastructure strategies, including backup, maintenance, and compliance with industry standards. You will provide technical support within the application framework, facilitating database provisioning and configuration to support organizational projects. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will develop cloud solutions, optimize systems for development teams, and lead process automation initiatives. Your role will include proactively resolving technical issues and continually enhancing systems through innovative solutions.
Comprehensive System Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of diverse server and client-based systems, primarily focused on Windows, while supporting a range of other platforms and Azure-hosted applications to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant operations.
Infrastructure, Security, and Database Leadership: Design and implement strategies for backup, maintenance, vulnerability management, and security, following industry best practices and compliance standards. Manage SQL database servers and configure applications to support core business functions and projects effectively.
Collaborative Solution Development: Partner with contracted teams, internal stakeholders, and vendors to design and implement cloud solutions that align with organizational objectives. Ensure seamless infrastructure setups, including subnet and firewall configurations.
Developer Support and System Optimization: Provide critical support to development teams, tailor systems to meet their specific use cases, and maintain optimal performance for continuous development.
Process Automation, Documentation, and Innovation: Develop and maintain scripts to automate processes, enhancing operational efficiency. To support continuity and knowledge sharing, create and uphold comprehensive documentation for systems and processes. Proactively identify opportunities for technological innovation, driving improvements to existing systems.
Investigative Problem Resolution: Thoroughly troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes and develop effective, long-term solutions. Address user inquiries and technical challenges through the ticketing system, providing timely and practical support.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a similar area. OR 8+ years of industry experience in leu of a degree.
3+ years of Familiarity with Azure cloud-based infrastructure support.
5+ years of working experience designing and sizing scalable infrastructure.
3+ years of working experience with MS SQL Server Database technologies (SQL 2019+, in memory, execution logic, and performance).
Proficient in writing/editing highly efficient TSQL, performing data analysis, and optimizing TSQL using performance tuning tools and settings.
One or more of these will represent an added advantage:
Knowledge of:
Construction: Planning, Scheduling, or Operations.
System design.
Windows Server Administration.
SQL Server Administration
Multi-tiered enterprise-level application configuration, support, and deployment (Web, Application, Data, Etc.)
Docker/Containers and Kubernetes.
ITIL, Agile/SCRUM, and DevOps concepts.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using GitHub
Sizing, estimating, and planning development efforts/solutions
Cyber security knowledge, including defense-in-depts, zero trust zones, and vulnerability management.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $136,900.00-193,270.00 USD
