Faster API Tester

Role & responsibilities

Strong experience in API Testing (REST) • Hands-on experience testing FastAPI applications • Proficiency with API testing tools such as: • Postman • Swagger / OpenAPI • REST Assured (preferred) • Experience in API Automation using: • Python (preferred) • PyTest / Unittest • Knowledge of JSON, HTTP methods, status codes, and REST principles • Experience with SQL and basic database validation • Familiarity with Git / Version Control • Understanding of microservices architecture • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)

Good-to-Have • Experience in performance testing (JMeter, Locust, etc.) • Knowledge of security testing (OAuth2, JWT, API security basics)

• Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Agile/Scrum experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication and collaboration skills • Attention to detail and quality mindset • Ability to work independently and in a team
