Lead and develop assigned facilities team including extended contracted team members. Have responsibility for mentoring and recruiting highly skilled facilities talent. Manage all facilities and maintenance activities within the department including but not limited to procurement of equipment, preventative maintenance scheduling and planning, space planning, layout changes, and facility flow improvements. Track project budgets and ensure completion to budget (especially for new facility projects) Develop standards, procedures, and training as necessary and effectively communicate plans and changes to all levels of the organization. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations, engineering, construction, facilities/maintenance or another related field Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited institution Experience with constructions standards and building code. Experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Experience working with Local and State officials to obtain permits Experience working with sub-contractors Ability to work in a matrix environment, get results and drive change through others Ability to manage by influence through solid relationships and process focus Ability to effectively present results and recommendations to senior-level executive team
