This position reports to:
Facility Manager__
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: On Site.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in México.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Support the Facilities team in daily operations and cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
- Assist in the execution and follow-up of facilities-related projects (e.g., infrastructure improvements, refurbishments).
- Provide administrative support, including document control, report generation, data analysis, and updating technical drawings.
- Support the management and coordination of janitorial and cleaning services.
- Assist in the supervision and organization of spare parts, tools, and consumables inventory for maintenance activities.
- Participate in ensuring proper operation of critical systems such as pumping and fire protection systems.
- Provide hands-on operational support to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility performance.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Active students from last 3 semesters from careers like Industrial engineering or related, with availability monday to friday full time.
- Knowledge lean manufacturing and tools.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and facilities management, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Basic understanding of project management principles.
- Data analysis skills (basic to intermediate).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – intermediate level.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Power BI.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Proactive, organized, and with a problem-solving mindset.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Administration Engineering, or a related field.
