Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Assistant Facilities Manager supports the facilities organization at a specific location, set of buildings, or campus environment. The Assistant Facilities Manager is charged with supporting the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services delivery that provides a well-managed and well-maintained building. Places an emphasis on a positive response to the concerns and needs of the tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, in coordination with the client's goals and objectives.

About the job:

  • Assist and report directly to AFM in all operation & maintenance concerns
  • Liaising and managing contractors
  • Attending to client’s feedback or requests
  • Manage the CMMS system
  • Any other ad-hoc assignments assigned by the Management
  • Investigate, check and analyze reported breakdowns & faults to determine their cause for the prevention of future occurrences
  • Follow up with term contractors on defects rectification after servicing work
  • Provide Admin support to the team

About you:

  • Minimally a Diploma in Facilities Management or any related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of relevant working experience in building operations, facilities management, maintenance, or contractor coordination.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, including M&E, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices.
  • Experience with CMMS / maintenance management systems will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
