Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line) : NA Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line) : NA Number of Outsourced Reports : NA Purpose of the Job : Implementation of Occupational Health Safety Management System across the plant to achieve objectives of Safety Policy declared by organization by creating Safe Work Environment inculcating safety culture. Major Responsibilities : ` •Legal/Statutory Compliance: Update maintain legal calendar. •Occupational Health, Safety Environment Management: Formulation, Implementation, Review updating of Occupational Health, Safety Environment Management system to achieve objectives set by EHS Policy for plant. •Operational Risk Management: Identification, Evaluation, Elimination control of potential/existing risk/hazards likely to cause injury to personnel damage to machine/ equipment/building for Accident/Incident prevention Total loss control. Co-ordination for internal/external audits, adequacy review rationalisation of insurance coverage. •HSE Co-ordination: Implementation of EHS Section for record-keeping, pollution prevention waste minimisation, auditing pollution control facilities, Identification monitoring of health hazards, sanitation hygiene facilities, Organising health, Safety Environment promotional activities for employees community. •Employee Motivation: To encourage all the employees by means of Usage of PPE's, Safety Committee meeting, Safety Day/week celebration, publication of Safety bulletin Safety award for participative management to elevate level of HSE standards. •Work order, service order to be prepared for the contractual activity SAP related activity to be made. Skills : • Leadership Skills • Computer Skills • Training Skills • Innovation Communication • Analytical Skills • Sharp Observer Relevant Experience : 8 to 10 years (min 2yrs in each organization) Unionized organization work exp req. Education Qualification(s) : (1)Degree Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile Engineering. (2)Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by state govt
