This role sits within the Consumer Finance business unit in Retail Banking Services (RBS), which manages CBA’s portfolio of Credit Cards, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and Personal Loans. Consumer Finance is responsible for delivering sustainable growth, strong risk-adjusted returns and compelling customer experiences across unsecured lending products. Operating in a highly competitive and regulated environment, the business balances innovation, responsible lending and commercial performance at scale.
Do work that matters
As an Executive Assistant within RBS, you will provide high‑quality executive and business support to two General Managers and their leadership teams. You’ll operate in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment, acting as a trusted partner who helps leaders stay prepared, connected and focused on delivering outcomes that matter to our customers and colleagues.
You will play an important role in supporting and reinforcing a high‑performance culture grounded in collaboration, connection and speaking up, while working closely with other EAs to ensure seamless executive support across the business.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Providing efficient, professional delivery of administrative, secretarial and business support
Proactively anticipating the needs of the General Managers, identifying where they require preparation, briefing or follow‑up support
Diary and inbox management, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence and ensuring effective use of executive time
Supporting meeting preparation, including coordinating packs and pre‑reading materials
Coordinating internal and external meetings with stakeholders, including liaising with other Executive Assistants and arranging meeting rooms
Organising All-Hands sessions, events, functions, off‑sites and team activities, including catering where required
Participating in meetings by coordinating agendas, capturing actions and tracking follow‑ups
Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements
Working in close partnership with the Executive General Manager’s Executive Assistant to ensure alignment, continuity and best practice executive support
Adhering to the Code of Conduct, which sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Previous experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders
Strong capability across Microsoft Office tools, including MS Teams conferencing
Demonstrated experience proactively leverage AI to improve productivity and efficiency
The ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and adapt to changing demands
A high level of professional judgement and confidence when engaging face‑to‑face, over the phone and through written communication
A proactive mindset, exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer and stakeholder service
