Job Overview

The Event Operator plays a critical role within the agency, supporting the successful implementation and delivery of live events to the highest possible standard. Working as part of the wider Operations and Warehouse teams, the role is hands-on and varied, combining warehouse coordination, on-site event support, logistics, asset management and health & safety responsibility.

Based across Strata’s warehouse facilities and live event environments, the Event Operator works closely with the Operations Management Team, Warehouse Manager, account teams and freelance staff to ensure the correct equipment is prepared, delivered, installed, collected and returned efficiently. The role involves managing a diverse range of client-owned and Strata-owned event and exhibition equipment, with a strong focus on quality control, organisation and process compliance.

This position requires flexibility to work unsocial hours, including weekends and overnight stays, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure and to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a practical and proactive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, asset care and ISO9001 compliance across all activities.
