Responsible for the development and design of new capacitor banks. 1)Product Development and Architecture Design Responsible for the overall design of medium and high voltage frame-type/indoor/outdoor cabinet-type/box-type capacitor banks (including the design of automatic capacitor switching devices). Selection and calculation: selection of capacitors, series reactors (tuning/reduction), switching components (fuses/circuit breakers/contactors/thyristors), busbars and conductors, controllers (PFC controllers), CTs/PTs, etc. Design of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout diagrams, and BOMs; optimization of space layout, heat dissipation, and contact life. Design of the mechanical structure of medium and high voltage cabinets (panels, drawers, modular units) and protection level (IP rating). Design verification and type/routine test plan preparation according to IEC/GB standards: dielectric loss, temperature rise, dielectric strength, short-circuit withstand, EMC, clearances, and creepage distances, etc. Commonly used standards (examples): o IEC 62271-5 (High-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies), GB/T 11022 (High-voltage switchgear assemblies). o IEC 60871 (Power capacitors for AC power systems of 1kV and above), GB/T 30841 (General technical requirements for high-voltage parallel capacitor banks). o IEC 61000 series (EMC), IEC/UL safety and protection regulations. Develop test plans: type testing, routine testing, environmental and reliability testing (temperature rise, vibration, salt spray, damp heat), field condition verification. 3) Complete ETO project design and VAVE cost optimization. Output complete technical documentation: specifications, schematic/wiring/layout diagrams, BOM, test reports, installation and maintenance manuals, and compliance declarations. Promote modular and standardized design to reduce BOM costs and improve production line assembly efficiency and consistency. Optimize design, optimize products, and reduce VAVE costs. Bachelor degree or above. 5-10 years+ of electrical design experience. Electrical Engineering and Automation. CAD, Eplan, Office, 3D design capability is preferred.
