Missions/Main Duties
Profile/Skills
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and integrate findings into the planning process.
- Analyze spatial data to identify environmentally sensitive areas, land use conflicts, and conservation priorities.
- Collaborate with GIS specialists to map ecological zones, green infrastructure, and environmental constraints.
- Develop environmental management strategies aligned with national and regional planning policies.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, community stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure environmental compliance.
- Prepare technical reports, environmental statements, and sustainability frameworks.
- Support public consultations and awareness initiatives related to environmental planning.
- Monitor environmental indicators and recommend mitigation or adaptation measures.
Profile/Skills
- Masters in Environmental Planning/ Engineering or equivalent
- He/She should have 10 years experience.
- He/She should have worked in at least 2 projects related to environmental planning.
