ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHER
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Language Teacher to join our educational institution in Benin City, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching English and committed to fostering a positive learning environment for students.
- Develop and deliver engaging English language lessons for students of various proficiency levels
- Create and implement effective lesson plans and curriculum materials aligned with educational standards
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their language development
- Utilize diverse teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress
- Provide additional support to students through one-on-one tutoring or small group sessions as needed
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Proven teaching experience, preferably in English
- Native-level fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management
- Familiarity with language acquisition theories and modern teaching methodologies
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia resources in the classroom
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
