Engineering Analyst, Trust and Safety Ads Account Entry
- Deliver actionable insights into ads account takeover and abuse threats while optimizing data collection and quality processes.
- Develop early warning alerts for evolving threats by researching attacker operations and analyzing their interactions with our systems.
- Lead Google Ads incident responses, including severe escalations with partner teams, providing intelligence on adversarial campaigns and actors.
- Collaborate with India-based vendors to scale ads account protection, including escalations and quality control.
- Provide training and advocate for ads safety tooling enhancements.
- Review graphic or offensive content and perform occasional on-call duties, including weekends and holidays.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline, 2 years of experience with one or more programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, or C++, and 2 years of experience with machine learning systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Ability to work proactively, motivated, organized, responsible, innovative, and well in a fast-paced, global, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment.
- Strong technical know-how and effective communication skills are essential.
- Ability to build, leverage, and evaluate models and operations to solve cyber security and abuse problems.
- A strong understanding of trust and safety principles is necessary.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, is expected.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
