Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
Overview
In this role, you will participate in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support Test Engineering operations.
Your responsibilities will span across full‑stack development, automation systems (RPA/UiPath), data workflow development, and GenAI solution implementation.
You will also work closely with cross‑functional partners to drive digital transformation, operational efficiency, and AI‑driven innovation across the MTB site.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain web‑based applications for Test Engineering (Python, HTML/JavaScript/CSS, Flask/Django, REST APIs).
Build automation tools for data processing, reporting, and system integration to support engineering workflows.
Implement scalable pipelines and ETL processes for test data, SCADA data, equipment logs, and analytical systems.
Design and maintain data models for high‑volume test‑related data (Test, POST‑A, Burn‑In, EFA/PFA, HBM, Char Data…etc).
Integrate data from multiple systems (TTE pipeline, AOST, MTSBL, EFA/PFA systems, SCADA, equipment logs).
Build analytics dashboards and visualization tools (Tableau, custom Python dashboards).
Support statistical analysis, anomaly detection, and pattern recognition for Test Engineering applications.
Develop and maintain RPA bots using UiPath, including unattended automation.
Automate high‑volume repetitive Test/PE/MFG processes (e.g., disposition rules, ticket submission, data extraction, scheduling).
Act as MTB RPA owner to optimize automation infrastructure and ensure system reliability.
Develop GenAI‑assisted engineering workflows (retrieval agents, auto‑analysis, copilots).
Build LLM prompt workflows, vector retrieval pipelines, and agentic automation tools.
Support the MTB GenAI Core Team in use‑case evaluation, POCs, and enterprise‑level adoption.
Explore and apply tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Tabnine, and AI coding assistants.
Develop applications and pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure.
Implement workflows involving BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, storage integration, and service deployment.
Contribute to GenAI and automation‑related data pipelines and model integration.
Work closely with Test EE/ES/TE, POST‑A, Burn‑In, MFG, PIE, PDE, DEG teams to understand engineering needs and build effective solutions.
Support system rollout, UAT coordination, deployment, and continuous improvement.
Provide documentation, coding standards, and knowledge‑sharing within the automation team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in programming (Python essential; JS/HTML/CSS a plus).
Experience or coursework in:
Data structures, software engineering, database design
Machine learning / deep learning fundamentals
Cloud computing (GCP/Azure)
Statistical modeling or EDA
Familiarity with:
