Job Summary

 EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Engineer in Washington, D.C.  This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible to his/her immediate supervisors, for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance during his/her watch of all equipment. All fired and unfired pressure vessels and vacuum systems. All refrigeration and air conditioning machinery and their associated equipment include maintenance and repair of cold storage spaces.
• Performing duty tours of the building.
• Responsible for being on call rotation for after-hour call ins.
• Must be available to work extended days or weekends if needed.
• Familiar with BAS/Honeywell front end system. Performing Preventive Maintenance on HVAC equipment in the building.  
• All other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer.

 

Qualifications

At a minimum must have a DC 3rd class Steam Engineers License along with 5 years experience in facilities maintenance. 

Physical Demands

Must lift heavy objects above 50 lbs. at times.
