Engine Design Specialist
Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering
Roles Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Components for External engines for Agricultural / Stationary / Offroad application
Packaging and Concept Study: Ensuring components fit and function within the Engine peripheral environment.
Coordination: Working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Participation: In DFM/DFA/DFS/DFMEA DVP activities
Additional Skills:
Domain Knowledge: Experience with Engines and its applications
Testing Knowledge: Understanding of system and component level testing.
Design Knowledge Component types:
Casting parts like manifolds, brackets, Housings, 5C components
Forging components
Sheetmetal
Pipes routings
CATIA V5 Skills: Proficiency in 3D Design with basic simulation awareness and work individually on component drawings.
PLM Tools: Familiarity with Windchill.
GDT Knowledge: Use of GDT on components
MS Tools: Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.
Release Process / Change Management / BOM: Knowledge of these processes.
Fundamentals and Analytical Skills: Strong foundational and analytical abilities.
Communication Skills: Effective communication with global team, basic know how of German preferred
