The Baden-Württemberg “Dual Study” system has been a uniquely successful model of its kind for 40 years. And its combination of academic study with commercial placements has also won high acclaim internationally. Students on the scheme spend approximately three months in alternating study and work placements.
Thanks to ElringKlinger’s presence in 45 locations worldwide, they also get to spend some of their on-the-job placements in other countries, including China, the United States, India and Canada. For a limited period you’ll get first-hand experience of the culture of another country. That’s something that can’t be said about every company. Our dual study programs – an overview
The discipline of business studies involves analyzing the interaction between businesses and different goods and services. Along the way you’ll learn how to assist the company with commercial issues (majors in Accounting & Controlling or Digital Business Management).
As an information management specialist, you’ll be involved in developing IT systems for businesses. To do this, you’ll combine IT expertise with knowledge from the field of business studies.
On this course you are trained as an engineer. As you learn how to develop technologies you’ll be using both your creative and manual skills. You’ll also be involved in the design, simulation and construction of products of a wide range of types and sizes. As well as production and plastics technologies, the degree program also focuses on tool systems engineering.
Engineering management is an interdisciplinary program of study that includes business, management, technology and law. As a qualified engineering management specialist (majoring in either mechanical engineering or electrical engineering), you’ll be an expert in both technology and business – a highly sought-after combination.
