ELI - Avionic Subsystem Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking an Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and validation of advanced EW solutions for airborne platforms. The role focuses on system-level engineering, signal analysis, SW solution and integration within complex avionics architectures.
Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to the design and development of Electronic Warfare systems at system and subsystem level
• Support integration and verification of EW systems with avionics and mission systems
* Support integration and verification of EW system on ground and inflight at helicopter level
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, system engineering)
• Participate in system reviews, documentation, and technical trade-off analyses
• Ensure compliance with performance, safety, and reliability requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Electronic, Electric, Telecommunication or Automation Engineering; Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering)
• Knowledge of RF systems, electromagnetics, and signal processing;
• knowledge of Real Time Safety Critical Embedded SW development aspects;
• SW design and development methodologies (Model Based design, Matlab/Simulink modeling and testing)
• knowledge of C/C++ programming languages
• Familiarity with avionics or complex embedded systems
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in team-based, technical environments
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Electronic Warfare or sensor systems
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation tools
• Understanding of system integration and verification activities
• Familiarity with requirements management tools
• Project management skills
• Strong problem solving capabilities and proactive customer satisfaction approach
• Team working and leading in a cross-functional and geographical team
• Inclination to work in line with standards, rules and objectives
• Thorough understanding of the entire software development life-cycle
* Interest in Human Machine Interface (HMI) aspects
