The work model for the role is on site.
This role is contributing to the Installations Product division in Electrification.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Develop and finalize the electrical interconnection plan for all production equipment at the K2 plant (approximately 1,200 units) at 120/208 V, 480 V, and 600 V.
Coordinate with engineering teams and electrical contractors to ensure consistency and alignment of interconnection plans.
Validate the capacity of distribution panels and identify required modifications or additional circuit needs.
Support the CSA certification of electrical panels for existing equipment.
For equipment without existing documentation, produce new electrical drawings and lead the certification process with the appropriate authorities.
Maintain an up‑to‑date register of the certification status for each piece of equipment.
Read and interpret architectural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical drawings.
Produce and update technical documentation using AutoCAD.
Use Excel for tracking, analysis, and management of interconnection and certification data.
Perform on‑site electrical surveys and produce as‑built drawings.
Required Qualifications
College diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrotechnics, or a related field.
Proven experience in industrial equipment electrical interconnection (120/208 V, 480 V, 600 V).
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, or SolidWorks (electrical drafting, layout, and schematic modifications).
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (tracking tables, formulas, data management).
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret multidisciplinary drawings (architectural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical).
Knowledge of the CSA certification process for electrical equipment (considered a strong asset).
French, spoken and written — mandatory.
Experience applying lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
ASP Construction Safety Card considered an asset.
