Electrical Engineer
Develop electrical aspects of power distribution & monitoring products, per approved engineering specifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with overall manufacturing processes Develop and maintain documentation and schematics for electrical systems Plan and test for Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) certification of new and existing products Communicate and support engineering team, designers, and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information Prepare cost reduction proposals for new and existing products based on cost trades, design improvements and Value-Added Value Engineering (VAVE) process Create and maintain accurate documentation of design concepts, tool drawings and shop orders in coordination with the Quality Assurance and Manufacturing functions Partner with manufacturing team early in the design process to ensure solutions are optimized for manufacturability, efficiency, and scalability Execute project activities with cross functional teams Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution Minimum three (3) years' work experience in Electrical Product Engineering One (1) experience designing Electrical systems Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Experience in design and preparation of electrical drawings (schematics, powerflow, one line, etc.) Knowledge of three-phase power systems, power electronics, battery systems, protective devices, and power conversion topologies Knowledge of high-power product design Ability to read technical documents and drawings
