EDM/PMAC Operator and Iteration Manager

What you'll do

EDM & PMAC operations

  • Build, maintain, and send EDM campaigns via Oracle Responsys in conjunction with the Consumer Retention Manager and Renewal Business Manager
  • Manage and operate the PMAC direct messaging platform, ensuring messages are correctly configured, tested, and deployed
  • Handle high volumes of campaign work simultaneously, prioritising tasks according to business value and deadline urgency
  • Proofread all outgoing communications to ensure accuracy, correct localisation, and high production quality across all market variants
  • Coordinate with copywriters, marketing specialists, and regional managers to gather assets and approvals before send
  • Report on campaign results and delivery metrics to eCommerce, renewal, and marketing managers

Iteration & delivery management

  • Act as Iteration Manager within an Agile delivery team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of the development and marketing delivery cycle
  • Identify and communicate the resources, tools, and environments needed to successfully deliver each iteration
  • Ensure team members understand their tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines at the start of each iteration
  • Track iteration progress daily, surface blockers early, and ensure iteration commitments are met
  • Provide Agile project status reporting including iteration burn-down, release burn-up charts, and feature progress updates
  • Work with Product Owners to define goals for releases and iterations using Agile inception techniques ensuring work is well planned, structured, and estimated
  • Interface with Product Owners for ongoing clarification and prioritisation of backlog items

Stakeholder collaboration

  • Meet regularly with eCommerce, renewal, and marketing managers to discuss business objectives, campaign requirements, and delivery timelines
  • Provide internal time-and-materials (T&M) estimates for campaign and digital marketing work across the online business
  • Work as an integrated member of a cross-functional team including web developers, copywriters, eCommerce managers, and regional marketing specialists
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on shared goals, morale, and an enjoyable working atmosphere
  • Carry out additional duties as directed by the Director, eCommerce Operations

What we're looking for

Essential skills

  • Hands-on experience building and sending EDM campaigns, including HTML/CSS email development
  • Excellent HTML and CSS skills with a strong understanding of email rendering across clients and devices
  • Proficiency with email distribution platforms and marketing automation tools
  • Strong time management and organisational skills able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in proofreading multilingual content
  • Strong English communication skills written and verbal
  • A professional, methodical approach to time, costs, and deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a distributed, cross-functional team
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the confidence to propose and advocate for ideas

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Oracle Responsys or a comparable enterprise email platform
  • SQL skills for querying audience lists and campaign data
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and iteration management practices
  • Experience with design and photo-editing software (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent)
  • Understanding of eCommerce and subscription renewal business models
  • Experience working with Japan and/or Taiwan market campaigns understanding of localisation requirements, cultural nuances, and regional consumer behaviour
