Duck Creek Billing QA/Testers
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Duck Creek Billing QA/Testers with strong hands-on expertise in testing Duck Creek Billing modules within P&C Insurance. The role includes end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and UAT support for Duck Creek Billing implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of Duck Creek Billing including:
- Invoicing
- Payments
- Installment plans
- Fees & taxes
- Commissions & agency billing
- Cancellations, reinstatements, write-offs
- Understand business requirements, billing workflows, and P&C insurance use cases to create effective test scenarios.
- Design and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
- Validate:
- Billing transactions
- Accounting entries
- Payment processing
- Downstream systems integrations
- Perform data validation using SQL across Duck Creek Billing and integrated applications.
- Support UAT cycles, defect triage, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Client Stakeholders to ensure complete coverage and quality delivery.
- Ensure compliance with QA processes, documentation standards, and quality metrics.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Duck Creek Billing QA / Testing.
- Solid understanding of P&C insurance, specifically Billing processes.
- Experience testing:
- Billing accounts & policy billing
- Payment plans, installments, fees, taxes
- Commissions & agency billing
- Cancellations, reinstatements, write-offs
- Experience in:
- Manual testing
- Defect management
- Test documentation
- Good working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
