- A driving theory test certificate is valid for 2 years from the date you pass it.
- This means that once you pass your theory test, you must take and pass your practical driving test within 2 years, or your theory test certificate will expire. If it expires, you will need to retake the theory test before you can book your practical test again.
- This 2-year validity applies to all types of driving licences, including car, motorcycle, and lorry (HGV) licences.
- So, be sure to complete your practical test within that time frame!
