Job Description:
At Regions, the Incentive Analyst helps to administer corporate line of business incentive plans. This position develops and provides reporting from incentive applications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conducts analysis required to recommend plan design changes and to help with sales performance
- Develops models to determine incentive plan payouts
- Interacts with various levels of management concerning incentive plan design and payouts and sales performance
- May work as a liaison with technology/vendors and end users to address user issues
- Audits and validates results between the systems of record and end results as needed
- Responsible for ad hoc analysis as requested
- May lead a team of associates
- Maintains specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline or function
- Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions/best practices
- Solves complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify solutions
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
- May serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of related experience
- OR High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of incentive experience
Preferences
- Banking experience
- Experience with Systems, Applications, & Products in Data Processing (SAP) Commissions software
- Database reporting with tools such as Crystal Reports and Structured Query Language (SQL) Reporting
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to supervise and manage a team
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to learn software/business intelligence tools
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented, with the ability to multitask
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills and a strong working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint
Prior credit experience preferred for the scorecard auditing portion of this position.
This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
