Director, Regional Operations, NAM

The Position Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, NAM, you will be responsible for driving operational focus, discipline, and execution across the region. The position provides leadership in planning, coordination, change management, and performance insights to ensure the region operates efficiently and effectively. This is a hands-on leadership position, playing a critical position in enabling regional success. As a member of the NAM senior leadership team, the position partners closely with functional leaders to drive best practices, operational efficiency, and effective go-to-market execution. The position enables GTM, Marketing, Technical Solutions, and other regional functions by strengthening planning, capability development, insights, and processes, allowing teams to focus on delivering value. A core mandate of the position is to ensure strong operational execution within NAM while strengthening alignment and connectivity with global teams operating under the Helix model. Regional Operations serves as the bridge between global “how we do it” teams and regional “what we do” teams, ensuring consistency, clarity, and effective delivery of priorities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: · Provide leadership and direction to the Regional Operations function, including sales operations, channel and partner management, and other regional business channels as required. Foster collaboration, strong cross-functional relationships, and effective engagement with regional and global stakeholders. · Own the regional forecasting process, including cadence, governance, monthly reporting, and reviews, ensuring alignment with global best practices and local execution. · Support the EVP in the development, monitoring, and reporting of regional KPIs. Deliver actionable insights through regular reporting, trend analysis, and ad hoc analysis to inform decision-making. · Drive regional efficiency through effective support of systems, processes, and governance, including opportunity management, tender support, contract and renewal administration, and sales process enablement. · Develop, implement, and monitor regional sales initiatives and campaigns to support GTM teams in achieving sales objectives. · Ensure NAM operates efficiently with the right resources, clear processes, and effective, targeted communication across the region. · Support regional capability development through structured training, coaching, and development programs. · Manage the coordination, communication, and delivery of regional projects in collaboration with global stakeholders. · Oversee the planning and dissemination of clear, consistent business communications across regional and global teams. · Own the regional business planning cadence and model, supporting leaders to execute plans effectively. Partner with the EVP to drive delivery of the NAM strategy through effective enablement of sales, partner, digital, and operations functions. To be successful in this role, you should have: · A minimum of 10 years of experience across operations, sales, and business development, preferably within a technical or geology-related industry. · Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Master’s degree is an asset. · Demonstrated experience in strategy development and execution, with exposure to international markets and clients. · A strong understanding of company and competitor offerings, with proven commercial acumen across sales, operations, contracting, and pricing. · Proven people leadership and management capability, with the ability to influence effectively at all organizational levels. · Highly developed communication, negotiation, analytical, reporting, and presentation skills. · Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. · High energy, resilience, and adaptable, with the ability to perform under pressure and respond quickly to changing demands. · Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. · Proficiency in the use of business and productivity software tools.
