What you'll be doing 

Reporting to the Senior Director, Fusion Threat Intelligence (FTI), the Director, Operational Intelligence, will be responsible for leading the operational intelligence function within the Fusion Centre. The Fusion Centre contributes to the protection of our clients and our bank by providing actionable intelligence spanning Cyber Security, Corporate Security, Third-Party Risk, and Fraud domains. The Director will oversee the daily intelligence operations including indicators of compromise, threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures, supplier intelligence, and monitoring the external environment for current and emerging threats. They will lead a team while guiding the production of actionable threat intelligence reports, executive briefings, metrics and reporting to drive decision-making and strategy to help safeguard sensitive customer data and critical infrastructure from nation-state actors, financially motivated adversaries, and third-party supply chain threats.

The Director will also collaborate cross-functionally to support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives as well as with the Strategic Intelligence function to align operational insights with broader organizational strategies. In addition, this role will be responsible to build out existing and future partner engagements and information sharing activities. The Director will leverage broad knowledge and experience in threat intelligence, and the fraud/security space.

How you'll succeed 

  • Intelligence Expertise – Provide specialized advice, consultation, and analysis on intelligence issues and trends relating to Cyber Security, Fraud, Third-party Risk, Corporate Security, and Fusion. Provide expert level consultation to leadership on intelligence collection & analysis from open sources and designing, implementing and delivering on Fusion’s mandate to inform and aid the protection of people, information, and assets.

  • Support to Key Stakeholders – Support complex issues and incidents as an intelligence leader with an emphasis on guiding the team in understanding stakeholder needs and looking for opportunities to improve service to our clients globally.

  • Relationship Building – Develop and manage relationships with corporate and business leaders, including facilitating collaboration with security and fraud pillars, providing knowledge of intelligence best practices, and collection and analysis techniques. 

  • Intelligence Program Management Knowledge – Identify potential opportunities to improve how we operate, take action, and contribute to issue resolution as quickly and efficiently as possible. Work collaboratively on capability development projects with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Leadership and Team Player – Contribute to the development of the threat intelligence capabilities within the Fusion Threat Intelligence team including the growth and development of highly skilled intelligence analysts. Motivate and manage employees through constructive and respectful feedback encouraging performance excellence.

Who you are
