The Financial Planning & Analysis Director will supervise, review, and participate in the development and implementation of the annual SG&A plan (budget), forecast, multi-year financial plan and analysis of major projects and investments.
  • Lead the annual SG&A budgeting and forecasting processes and coordinate with Finance and Operational leadership on Capital Expenditure budgeting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Analyze various strategic projects and incorporate into the financial plan.
  • Provides monthly / quarterly analyses on various issues, e.g. cash flow analysis, capital spending performance, etc.
  • Develops and evaluates financial analyses and builds models to support new market/strategic investment opportunities for AHC.
  • Prepare various financial reports of programs for executive and board review.
  • Coordinates with Operators and Performance Optimization teams to ensure clear representation of financial outcomes relating to operational OKRs and KPIs.
  • Optimizes reporting and analytics by leveraging the capabilities of ERP and Financial Planning systems.
  • Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning that integrates operational drivers with financial information.
  • Develop financial projections using driver-based forecasting and rolling forecast methodologies.
  • Partner with operations leaders to quantify the financial impact of performance improvement initiatives.
  • Performs related duties similar to the above in scope and function as required.
  • Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of finance and/or budget experience
  • At least 5 years of managing finance/budget team

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Business or Accounting preferred

Specialized Skills:

Required:

  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, and integration between ERP, EPM, and BI tools.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) to design executive dashboards linking financial and operational metrics.
  • Knowledge of modern FP&A/EPM platforms (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Oracle, Workday, etc.) and how they connect with operational systems.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of healthcare, insurance, or service industry operating models.
  • Experience implementing data warehouses, KPI dictionaries, or enterprise-wide reporting standardization projects.

Pay Range: $130,332.00 - $195,498.00

Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
