About the role:
The Director of Business Development at Conetic is a senior leadership role responsible for driving growth initiatives beyond direct sales execution. The role focuses on market development, strategic partnerships, product and ecosystem evolution, and brand positioning, working closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
This position does not carry individual sales quotas. Instead, it is accountable for helping shape our future vision and opportunities, enabling scalable growth, and ensuring Conetic’s offerings, products, and ecosystem are aligned with market needs and expectations.
This position leads the Strategy department to fulfill our future and growth vision.
About the responsibilities:
Growth Strategy & Market Development
Define and lead business development initiatives aligned with Conetic’s overall growth strategy.
Identify new markets, use cases, and opportunities for Conetic’s services, products, and ecosystem.
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and client/industry needs to inform strategic priorities.
Translate market insights into actionable initiatives and internal alignment.
Products, Solutions & Ecosystem Enablement
Act as a key business stakeholder for Conetic’s products, tools, and ecosystem
Work closely with other departments to shape priorities, requirements, and rollout plans.
Ensure Conetic’s solutions are market-relevant, scalable, and clearly positioned.
Drive internal alignment and external adoption of Conetic’s ecosystem across clients and partners.
Strategic Partnerships & Relationships
Develop and manage strategic partnerships that support Conetic’s long-term growth and value proposition.
Ensure partnerships are structured, aligned, and delivering tangible value to the business.
Sales Enablement & Strategic Support
Support Sales leadership with strategic input, market insight, and solution positioning.
Contribute to RFP strategies and high-priority client engagements.
Participate in key conversations to ensure opportunities are framed and positioned effectively.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives related to growth, partnerships, and product evolution.
Align stakeholders around priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes.
Ensure initiatives move from concept to execution, with clear ownership and follow-through.
About you:
Senior experience in business development, strategy, partnerships, product, or marketing-related roles.
Strong ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
Experience technology-enabled environments is a strong plus.
Experience in Connectivity, OTT, data, or platform monetization environments is considered a strong advantage.
Proven experience managing teams and working with multiple stakeholders across different functions.
Ability to understand the business end-to-end, with a holistic view from strategy to execution.
Critical and analytical mindset, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.
