About the Role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Director of Asset Management to support the execution and performance of a geographically assigned portfolio of retail, mixed-use, and/or multifamily assets.

In this role, you will serve as the asset-level execution lead—translating strategy into action, driving leasing and operational performance, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable NOI growth. You will partner closely with the Vice President of Asset Management, who retains final decision authority and economic ownership of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Asset Strategy: Implement VP-approved business plans, ensuring alignment with portfolio objectives and capital priorities.

  • Support Leasing Execution: Evaluate leasing opportunities, structure deal economics, and lead or support negotiations in partnership with Leasing.

  • Drive NOI Growth: Improve asset performance through disciplined leasing execution, expense oversight, and operational alignment.

  • Analyze Performance: Monitor asset-level financials, identify variances, and recommend actions to enhance revenue and efficiency.

  • Support Capital Initiatives: Underwrite and coordinate redevelopment, re-tenanting, and value-add projects.

  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Leasing, Property Management, Development, Finance, and Legal to ensure effective execution and alignment.

What You Bring

  • 5–10+ years of commercial real estate experience, preferably across retail, mixed-use, office, or multifamily portfolios

  • Experience underwriting leases and supporting redevelopment or value-add initiatives

  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including asset valuation and performance analysis

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, execution-oriented environment

  • Strong communication skills and sound commercial judgment

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred (MBA a plus)

Why Join Us

This is a high-impact role offering direct exposure to asset strategy, leasing decisions, and capital investments. You will play a critical role in driving portfolio performance while building the experience and judgment needed for future asset-level ownership and leadership opportunities.
