Title and Summary Director, Finance Business Partner Overview The Finance Business Partner, Japan will play a key role as a business partner to the divisional president and management team by providing thought leadership and financial advice on business priorities to enable financially sound, effective and efficient investment decisions. He/she will assume full responsibility for the financial stewardship of the Division and actively maintaining a strong internal control environment to support operational excellence. Role: • Financial control and reporting • Strategy development and implementation support • Financial planning and analysis (business planning, objective setting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting) • Business development and investment review, analysis, implementation & integration • Pricing review and implementation • Risk management • Supporting tax compliance • Ad-hoc financial analysis All About You: • Relevant qualification in business, accounting and/or a related discipline. • Broad understanding of all the different areas of finance. • Results oriented and performance driven with a focus on excellence. • Good understanding of analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting techniques. • Strong leadership skills. • Strong strategic thinking and business understanding. • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills. • Strong relationship management and networking skills. • Experience leading and motivating a small team. • Experience working in cross functional teams. • Significant financial experience, qualified CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent. • Excellent English Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
