Digital Marketing Specialist
The Role
GFL is seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Specialist for a dual-function role focused on organic growth and deep data analytics. You will optimize the Environmental Services website while providing the marketing team with actionable insights to drive performance.
Core Responsibilities
SEO Strategy: Research keywords and develop localized search positions for our flagship site.
AI Optimization: Create "AI-friendly" content and stay ahead of emerging SEO best practices.
Web Management: Execute content updates and publishing via Dato CMS.
Advanced Analytics: Build GA4 and Looker Studio dashboards to report trends and performance to senior leadership.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with web developers and content creators to optimize project outcomes.
Technical Skills & Competencies
Analytics: GA4 (Complex reporting), Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Looker Studio.
SEO & Research: Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Trends, Keyword Planner, Page Speed Insights.
AI & Tools: Google Gemini (AI adeptness), Dato CMS, Excel/Google Sheets (Advanced computation).
Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration, presentation building, and problem-solving.
Qualifications
Proven Results: Verified history of improving organic performance and data-driven decision-making.
Expertise: In-depth knowledge of technical SEO and current AI marketing trends.
Efficiency: Ability to translate complex data into clear, high-level presentations.
